Dear Union School District Families and Staff Members,
As you may have heard, a horrific hit-and-run incident occurred in the area of Blossom Hill Road and Leigh Avenue involving a car and pedestrians on Sunday evening, March 26th, as shared here in local news reports. Today, we received word that the woman who died had a connection to a former student and other families in Union School District.
Our hearts are with the woman’s family members, her child who was injured during the incident, and all her friends and loved ones who knew her and are grieving. Please keep them in your thoughts.
As a community, we can all continue to do our part in driving slowly and safely in our neighborhoods to protect each other.
