Dear USD Families:
Hoorah for the 2022-23 school year! There is so much to be proud of and celebrate. The end of the school year is full of acknowledgments of the work that has transpired over the course of the past school year. I find the end-of-year allows the opportunity to reflect on the growth that has taken place over the last 10 months, and our students, our staff, our families and our volunteers are celebrating significant accomplishments. It is thanks to you, each member of our USD community, that we are, as a team, able to provide a supportive, caring and enriching educational experience for all our students.
Thank you to all who shared hundreds of messages of appreciation during USD’s Week of the Employee. This past month, during the USD Week of the Employee, USD also hosted its annual Employee Recognition Event on May 17th to honor and celebrate our phenomenal Team USD. We recognized individuals for their dedication and commitment to the students, staff and families in Union School District. Once again thank you to the over 600 USD team members that make USD a special place for our students, families and community.
We will continue to update families through the end of the school year and throughout the summer with resources and ways to stay connected and engaged through the summer break. Wishing you and your loved ones a summer full of fun and adventures!
