On Saturday, October 29th, Union School District hosted its first annual Helping Harvest event at Dartmouth Middle School. Staff, students and families from all eight schools joined together for a fun-filled afternoon of activities, games and social time together. The community focused, giving event provided many opportunities for individuals to donate goods for the District's Blessings in a Backpack program, various food drives, donate e-waste, all in support of our USD community. People also left messages of kindness for our neighbors at Belmont Assisted Living and the Almaden Health and Rehabilitation center.
Many thanks to our parent community who hosted booths with fun activities and games for kids and our student and staff volunteers.
